We’ve written an FAQ to answer some of the questions we've received about watermarking. In summary: • We’re implementing watermarking to comply with the EU AI Act. Other major model developers have signed the same Code of Practice and will also be implementing watermarking; • Our watermarking method doesn’t have any practical impact on the quality or content of Claude’s outputs; • The difference between watermarked and un-watermarked text will not be distinguishable to readers; • Nothing is added to the text and there are no hidden characters; • Watermarking doesn’t require extra tokens, and will not be more expensive; • Watermarks can’t be traced to a specific person, organization, or chat. ICYMI: Not every step in an agent workflow needs the same model. Meet NVIDIA NeMo Switchyard, a new open-source library for model routing. Use frontier models for complex reasoning and planning, and NVIDIA Nemotron Lightning for high-volume, specialized execution.
It’s (finally) Friday 🎉 Here’s our end-of-week recap: — This year’s @madebygoogle lineup (Pixel 11 series, Pixel Watch 5, and Pixel Tag) brings new AI integrations across devices. A few of the key announcements were Magic Capture for simultaneous video and photo capture, Rambler’s AI voice typing and text transformation, and expanded Live Transcribe for real-time ASL-to-text translation using the Pixel camera. Tying it all together is Gemini Intelligence, our proactive, agentic AI layer to anticipate user needs. — Gemini 3.7 Flash, our most intelligent workhorse model yet for coding and agents, is now available in the Gemini API via @googleaistudio, @antigravity, Spark in the @geminiapp, and the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform. It’s also rolling out to paid users on @googleworkspace, Gemini App, and Search. — @GoogleDeepMind's WeatherNext 2, an AI forecasting tool that can give meteorologists an extra day of accuracy when predicting a cyclone's track, intensity, and wind structure, is now open source. — The upgraded @Gemini_Notebook experience has been fully rolled out to all Pro users and the ability to copy a notebook has been rolled out to all users.

Ask ChatGPT to roast your computer usage after a day. Install the Computer History plugin, do things as usual and kindly ask it to roast your behavior. It's ... insightful 👀 ===== - You don’t use Slack. Slack uses you. It accounted for 48% of your recorded activity. Your Mac is essentially a $3,000 Slack notification with a keyboard. - Your productivity system is clicking “Clear” until God intervenes. You clicked it 339 times while submitting 253 Slack messages. You are playing Whac-A-Mole against an organization chart. - Your most-used keyboard shortcut is Delete. 1,191 times, including 1,065 in Slack. You’re not drafting messages. You’re negotiating peace treaties between your first thought and your executive function. - You pressed ⌘C 133 times and ⌘V just 26 times. You acquire information like a Victorian gentleman collecting exotic birds and then apparently release most of it into the clipboard wilderness. - You opened 42 tabs and closed 53. Technically, this makes browser-tab management your most successful project of the day. - You switched between actual applications more than 200 times, while reading an X post that literally said, “You probably hate tab switching.” The call is coming from inside the Chrome window. - Your busiest hour was 9 p.m., with more than 1,500 Slack events. Apparently “end of day” is less a time than a theoretical concept you enjoy discussing in meetings. - Your document at the center of several important workstreams was called “Hello.” Nothing says organizational clarity like running half the company through a Google Doc named after the first thing software prints.

Work with Google docs, sheets and slides right inside ChatGPT. This has changed how I write documents, brainstorm or proofread things. I just open it and then chat or talk my way through changes and it all happens right there in the flow.
